Founding Partner - Aeroplan
Aeroplan, Canada's premier loyalty marketing company, is the founding partner of the Carbon Reduction Fund. Aeroplan has generously provided financial support to establish the Fund, and will be the primary initial purchaser of carbon credits from the Fund.
Aeroplan is taking industry-leading action to address climate change by taking concrete steps to reduce their own corporate emissions, as well as by purchasing credits to offset 100% of the carbon footprint resulting from its own business travel. In addition, Aeroplan members will now have the choice to offset the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from flight by using their Aeroplan Miles. Aeroplan will match all miles redeemed for carbon offset credits by an additional 20 per cent and transfer the total sum to the Carbon Reduction Fund.
